Over the years, Ron and Rusty Kurenda have crafted some of the most well known pottery designs, with an ever evolving collection that reflects changes in both tastes and the times. From 1974 to the present day, Prairie Pottery continues to take “pride of place” in homes and collections the world over.

| Each piece is carefully examined by the accomplished eyes, and touched by the skilled hands of master artisans. With today’s computerized uniformity, the purity of the real thing, the earthy individuality and sense of true creation gets lost. Not so at Prairie Pottery. | ||||
| From the handcrafted pieces “thrown” one at a time on the potters’ wheel to the pots created by hand from slab and coil, each with it’s own unique finish using glazes formulated by the potters themselves, Prairie Pottery’s artisans have combined old world skills and modern production techniques to yield some of the finest quality hand-made giftware and tableware available anywhere in the province. There’s not a mass-produced pot to be seen. |

| The superb selection of stunningly beautiful pottery from our shop demonstrates an appreciation for fine and original handcrafted clay ware. None of the pieces are made from commercial molds. Each piece of pottery in the store is a hand-made treasure , continuing a tradition begun at Prairie Pottery in 1974. |
